Q: I'm visiting from England next Feb 1st and need direction. Help!

A: I recommend Third Base Sports Bar. Two Locations (North and Downtown). http://www.thirdbaseaustin.com/ Pretty good food for a bar and plenty of space so you won't have to show up hours early to get a table. Plucker's has several locations - some are better than other to watch sports. They are a wing place, so if you think you might want to eat anything else it may not be the place. Tavern is a good spot but it is small so be sure and get there early. Aussie's - sorry. I just don't think it is that good a place to watch the game. Not enough TV's The link in the source has many other sports bars in town, links to reviews of those bars, and a map so you can find a place near you. Hope you have a good time, Austin is one of the best places in America (if you ask me).
