Q: All I have to pay out of that is tips for our 1 a day sit down meal, 1 fast food meal a day, and any souveniers for my 3 year old. Its just my husband, myself and my 3 year old little girl. Also, how much is good enough for souveniers for my little girl per day? Is everything way overpriced in the parks for little trinkets and toys??? i'm only paying for one meal a day. Say I spend even $40 a day on meals x 5 days...thats $200 dollars. Wouldnt $100-150 dollars be enough for souveniers for my daughter?

A: You should have plenty. Let's say you tip $20 for your sit down meal X 5 (and that would be an EXTREMELY generous tip) that would be $100. And I'm sure like most 3 year olds, she doesn't eat that much so she could share off you and your husbands plates at the fast food meal (Disney has huge portions and all three of you may be able to share a meal or two, if you get snacks and stuff) and you spend $20 for your fast food meal x 5 that would be $100, so $200 total for your food (like you said above). That would be more than plenty, and any leftover tip money you have can go toward souvenirs. $150 should be more than plenty for souvenirs. You can try what we do, and the first day let her pick something (medium priced) like a stuffed animal and maybe a pair of Mickey Ears. She'll be so excited with these items, that it should keep her occupied. THEN, don't go into anymore gift shops with her until DAY THREE. If she's not in gift shops, then she's not gonna want anything (a trick I've learned all to well). If your husband watches your daughter for a few minutes (like during a parade), you can sneak into a gift shop and get a few little things, or on your last day you all three can go WILD with your left over souvenir money, and we tend to do this at Downtown Disney Marketplace, they have the the World of Disney store, it's the biggest Disney store in the World I believe. OR if she is a big Disney Princess fan, or a very girly girl, you might want to take her to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for her BIG souvenir. They have one at the Magic Kingdom Park and one at Downtown Disney. She can have a "makeover" and be made into her favorite princess. You'll see little girls walking all over with super cute hair and costumes. I've included links to the official site, and also a you tube video where you can see the "magic" happen. :o) On the video 1:42, the little girl looks to be about three-ish, so cute! Have a great trip!
