Help with Disney+ Vacation Planning?

Q: Okay guys, I am planning a family trip. It's probably the only one we will be able to go on and I want to go before my kiddos get too old (14&10). I would like to do the Disney thing but it's pretty hard to get straight answers on prices regarding hotels, where they are located in relation to the Magic Kingdom (or even if they are on the grounds) and the best packages to get for tickets. If you're not from the area, you never really know if the item you're getting special pricing on are dives or not. We are coming from WI, will be driving down and I would also like to stop along the way. I think we will be driving through Illinois, Tenn, and Georgia. (Of course my husband would like to take a detour to NY and say Hi to Brett) Any good sites or stops in any of those that are not too far out of the way? I know I have a lot of q's but I want to make sure we all have a really good and memorable time. Any suggestions would be truly appreciated. Thanks to all! ~Jen Before I forget...there will be 4 of us and we will be going the week after Easter in April '09 (I think it's the 19th through the 25th.)

A: Jen--check out this site for first time visitors to WDW: http://yourfirstvisit.net. It covers all the basics--where to stay, to do list, what to see when, restaurants to reserve, etc, and takes a lot of the time and complexity out of planning a trip to Disney World. Hope this helps and have a great trip!! Dave
