Q: When I arrive LA I think that I'll stay in Motel 6 in Van Nuys (Its in Sepulveda blvd I think) , I never stayed in Motel 6 , are they ok? the rooms are clean? They are very cheap... Thanks yellowstonedogs, I need a hotel in the valley for few days until I find a job and an apartment. I'm moving to LA. I guess that if their Inglewood motel is good then their Van Nuys motel should be good too. Thanks.

A: I've not stayed in the Sepulveda one, but have stayed in the Motel6 on West Century Boulevard many times. This is the road which runs into LAX. It's closer to LAX than the Sepulveda location and a courtesy bus runs to and from continually. Motel6 are renowned as a reasonably priced hotel. Clean, well maintained with everything you need in a hotel. I would recommend this one - it is several storeys high and handy to the 405. I have actually stayed in Motgel6 locations right across the USA and the only couple I've found to be less then okay was the one in Memphis (around the block from Gracelands) and the one in South Lake Tahoe. Both of these were much older motels and needed renovating. If you are staying in the US long, make sure you pick up the complimentary book they provide in the foyer. It has all the information you need to find one, including maps, directions and of course rates. Motel6 has locations right across the country. Check out their site, you may change your mind and stay at 5101 West Century Boulevard Inglewood (On the left hand side leaving the airport) http://www.motel6.com/ If you needing a rental car and are on a budget, I can recommend Fox Rent a Car at: 5500 W Century Blvd (on the right hand side leaving the airport) http://www.foxrentacar.com/FoxLocations.aspx Enjoy LA. EDIT: Okay, I have not stayed at the one in Dallas, but the one in Galveston, Tx is nothing at all like the description from the answerer above. Nor is the one in Inglewood.
