Q:

A: It's a long round-about drive (2 days) but from Portland take I-26 to Cannon Beach. Meet up with US-101 there and take it up the coast. Then drive 101 from Astoria, through Forks, Port Angeles and Sequim. Pick up Rte. 104 to the hood canal bridge, take state highway 3 to 305 on Bainbridge island and take the Ferry to downtown. It's about twice the distance you would have gone if you would have taken I-5 directly from Portland to Seattle, but hey, that's what riding a motorcycle is all about.(at least for me)
