A: We always went to Multnomah Falls when my kids were little. They can play in the creek and hike up to the bridge and it's just a gorgeous, gorgeous place. Look at pics on their website http://www.multnomahfallslodge.com Another favorite place of ours is Blue Lake Park. Swimming, picnicing, paddle boats, and they have BBQ pits and it's a great place and right now is the right time to go, as September is still swimming season in the PDX area.
