Q: I'm completely lost as to how to get to UC Davis from where I live via bus or train. I tried using the Trip Planner option on the Sacramento Regional Transit website and it doesn't go into Davis...so what now? I figure it's way cheaper to use the bus or train then to pay for gas to get there. Thank you so much! If nothing else, please point me in the right direction like the website or something! Thank you!!!!!
A: You have a couple of options. Take Light Rail downtown to the AMTRAK station, then jump on the Capitol Corridor train. The frist stop is in Downtown Davis. Or you can get downtown and take the YOLOBUS, into Davis. I am not to sure about the schedules for this one but I will give you links. All of the carriers offer student discounts.
