A: There are many things to do in San Antonio. There are the theme parks, Sea World and Fiesta Texas. You could go listen to some jazz, or eat on the Riverwalk. Visti the historic sites, like the Alamo, the Missions Historic park or many others in the city, Visit one of the art museums, or one of the many other art showings at area galleries. Go to one of the other museums including the Witte, or the Army Medical Department Museum among others. There will be many concerts, including the San Antonio Symphony, the SA Opera may have a performance, there are many visiting artist and often there are free concerts in the fine fall season. Oktoberfest is held every year at Beethoven Hall during October and the Lebonese Festival is also in the month. If you are here at the right time the First Friday Art and Music Fest in Southtown can be fun. The Taste of San Antonio a chance to try selections from many of the finest restaurants in the city is held every October. There are many golf tournaments in October in the city, including Eva Longoria's Celebrity tournament, the Valero Texas Open, the AT&T Championship and others. There will be many plays in the city during that month, so it is a good chance to visit the theatre. The San Antonio Local Film Festival is held in October. The San Antonio Rampage Hockey games and the San Antonio Spurs can be fun, and there are area college football games. And San Antonio celebrates it's annual Founder's Day Celebration every October. In addition there are the normal activities found in any major city. You should be able to find something to keep you occupied. Hope you enjoy your stay in the city.
