what countie is san antonio in.?

Q: my girlfriend is in san antonio while im in ohio, she went down there to see a friend graduate from airforce basic. hurrican ike is coming and im scared for her, im tryin to find out if there is going to be a hurrican warning but its only counties, it dont just say san antonio. help with the countie and if u have any info, like, if the hurrican is going to strike san antonio, and will it be dangerous for her to stay there so she can get on a plane back to ohio before it is to late. her flight back home is sunday at 3 pm, san antonio time, will she be able to fly back home to ohio on sunday or will the flight be delayed. whats ur opinion

A: The current predicted path of Hurricane Ike is for it to turn north once it gets on land. Bexar county in Texas will probably not ever have a hurricane warning, but may get a thunderstorm warning. However, after the hurricane turns north, it is supposed to head directly over Ohio. She is probably as safe in San Antonio as there. EDIT: The weather here calls for some occasional thunderstorms and light winds, so she should not have a problem with weather on this end. However, since the Houston Airport has been closed, some of the traffic and some passengers may have been rerouted through San Antonio, so it could be confusing on Sunday. We will have to see. She should contact the airlines by phone to find out if she has flight delays.
