Q:

A: At grade school age try Shoguns on S Lindberg. They cook everything at the table and the chef's put on quite a show. We took a bunch of 8 year olds and they had a ball. I'm not a huge fan of "kids" restaurants because us adults have to eat the food which always takes a backseat to the games. I've struggled thru many a pizza at Chuckie Cheese, Happy Joes and Incredible Pizza. My idea is to take the kids someplace fun like Swing Around Fun Time and then go out to a restaurant for a good pizza like Fortels which is family friendly and yet tastes good. Somehow kids games and good food just dont seem to go together and kids dont learn that restaurants are for eating not playing. I've been to more than one dinner where I wish parents had taken their kids to McDonalds rather to a sit down dinner.
