HELP.things to do in Washington DC?

Q: whats there to do in DC??? where to go?what to do?what place that nice? any restaurant that good? HELPPP i need yoour guys helppp

A: There's lots of things to do in DC, and many of them are free. Go to any of the Smithsonian Museums (American History, Natural History, Air & Space), or the National Gallery. The Washington Zoo is great, right on the subway line and it's free. The Kennedy Center has free concerts. If you like theatre, you can go to Ticketplace and get half-price tickets for that afternoon or evening. Plus there's the monuments - Washington, Lincoln, Vietnam Veteran's, etc. They're all free. The Spy Museum is a favorite of mine if you're looking for something different - but the admission is about $20. I like local, cheap restaurants. Queen Bee in Clarendon (orange line) is a great place for authentic Chinese food. Go to Ben's Chili Bowl in the District for cheap chili and chili dogs. If you want to go a little fancier, Georgia Brown's in the district has great southern food. And although it's a chain, Red Hot & Blue (there's one in Arlington) has great bbq. I usually stay in Rosslyn, it's centrally located in Northern Arlington and the metro station is right there. You can get a hotel room in one of the 3 Marriott properties that are there at a good price - often significantly under $100 a night. Have a great time!
