A: There are some great websites, but WashingtonDC.gov can give you lots of good information, too. Check out the guided tours. Although they can be costly, it is the best way to see the most popular sites when you have limited time to spend. You can easily spend a week in D.C. and not see all the sights, or even visit all the museums and art galleries. The websites provide links to hotels in the area. Select one that's family friendly. Rates are cheaper on the weekends than during the week, by the way. All the business people and lobbyists go home.
