Q: I was going to go this evening because it is $8 after 5PM on Fridays. they close at 8PM. They ask you to pick a time you will enter. They enter people every half an hour with last one at 7:30. Is 30 minutes even enough time to go through. I was debating between 6 and 6:30. We aren't seeing the dolphin show since I thought it would eat up more time so just the aquarium part. I probably cannot get there until 5:30 at the earliest due to work.
A: Friday evening is a good time to go since there are fewer people and the price of admission is lowered because of that. If you go at 5:30, plan to be there until it closes. It can easily take 2 hours or more just to go through the exhibits from top to bottom. It's fascinating and informative and extremely entertaining. Afterwards, take time to walk along the Inner Harbor and catch the music and sights. Go to the food court for dinner, or eat from Phillip's extensive buffet. Listen to the street bands, watch the jugglers. It's really quite a nice show!
